Marriage is not hard
Asalama Alaykum Everyone.
Yes, Marriage is not really as hard as we made it seem today. Our society has created an illusion of fear of what will happen if you take that important step toward accepting someone to your life, a fear of failure. This failure has many layers to it, one being what type of person this individual could be, will they bring you success and happiness or failure and sorrow, will they be the reason for you to attain jannah or a means for you to get farther away from Allah. All these thoughts run through the minds of young Muslims today but the fear and the setback which makes it even harder to cross that bridge of marriage is the lack of support from families and relatives. Every time a young Muslim or Muslimah brings someone who he/she feels they have the criteria which this beautiful religion of Islam has set for them, a lot of negativity and rejection comes from the mouths of people you deeply care about their opinion and acceptance.
I think our people won’t change their attitude toward marriage but It’s important for the person who wants to cross that bridge to have a lot of Tawakul on Allah and work harder than usual to make it successful. If you combine those two recipes, Insha Allah you will see yourself holding a beautiful baby
Good luck on your journey and May Allah swt make it easy and blessed one for you.
Wa Billahi Tawfiq.
