10 things muslims took for granted!
Prayer is in the center of the devout muslim’s heart, it powers him and
gives him the energy to keep moving forward. It’s the connection
between his soul and Allah (swt). Many people are badly in need of the
Muslim prayer today, that’s only if they knew the benefit in it.
2. Making Wudu Muslims do wudu or abolition;
this is to clean yourself to prepare for prayer. The wudu keeps the
muslim clean from all kinds of dirt and unhealthy contacts. It doesn’t
only clean their body but when the prayer they pray after the wudu
cleans their bad deeds too. As it states in hadith of the prophet
(pbuh). The Prophet once asked his companions: “Do you think if there
was a river by the door and one of you bathed in it five times a day;
would there remain any dirt on him?” The Prophet’s companions answered
in the negative. The Prophet then said: “That is how it is with the
five (daily) prayers; through them God washes away your sins.”
4. In-depth Knowledge in Islam
Everyone today is seeking some sort of knowledge, but Islam has the
ultimate knowledge that benefits person in this life and hereafter
(after death). There are three main types of knowledge in Islam, first
is the knowledge of Allah (swt), knowing him and all his attributes.
‘So know (O Muhammad) that Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah (none has the right to
be worshipped but Allaah),’ [Muhammad 47:19] The second knowledge is to
know about prophet Mohamed (pbuh) and his sunnah and the third is to
learn Islam with proof, that you can prove what you say from the Qur’an
and Ahadith of the prophet (pbuh). These kind knowledge and many more
is what many muslims took for granted today and they don’t share with
others because they say “we are not scholars akhi” or “Brother let’s
stick to Iba’dah”.
5. 5. Attending Hajj
is one the greatest events of the Muslim’s life, it lifts the spiritual
experience of the muslim person because you are worshiping Allah with
other millions and millions of Muslims. Especially the day Ara’fah,
where millions of muslims stand to praise Allah all day till the sun
sets. This is truly remarkable experience for everyone who had it. This
feeling of ones and equality is what makes Islam unique to any other
religion. Once MalcomX said when he came back from Hajj.
were tens of thousands of pilgrims, from all over the world. They were
of all colors, from blue-eyed blonds to black-skinned Africans. But we
were all participating in the same ritual, displaying a spirit of unity
and brotherhood that my experiences in America had led me to believe
never could exist between the white and non-white.” – The Autobiography of Malcolm X
6. 6. Brotherhood
in Islam is not like any other brotherhood that exists in this world,
Brotherhood in islam has more in-depth meaning to it, Allah (swt) has
said in the Qur’an,
“The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.” 49:09
And it says in hadith
Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not oppress him, nor
does he leave him at the mercy of others." [Sahih Muslim].
example When the prophet (pbuh) migrated to madina, he immediately
started to create between the Muhajiruun (migrates from Makkah) and
Ansaar (the people of madina) a brotherhood. The prophet (pbuh) has
ordered that every Muhaajir to be brother with ansaar, Saad ibn
Ar’Rabie’ was a very rich man from the Ansar. The Prophet (Pbuh) joined
him with Abdurrahman ibn Awf in a bond of brotherhood. When the two new
brothers walked together, Saad said to Abdurrahman: I am one of the
richest people among the Ansar. I will divide my property into two
equal shares and give you one share of it. Moreover, I have two wives.
You choose the one you like better and I will divorce her, so that
after she has finished her waiting period you may marry her."
Abdurrahman said: "May Allah bless you and your family and your wealth. You only need to show me your market place."
Abdurrahman went to the market and started to buy and sell a few items.
A few days later, he went to see the Prophet (Pbuh) who noticed that he
was well dressed. The Prophet (Pbuh) asked him the reason for that and
he said that he got married. The Prophet (Pbuh) asked what dower he paid and Abdurrahman said: "A date stone of gold."
type of rich brotherhood is unique to muslims and we took it for
granted but we need to realize this blessing from Allah and thank him
7. 7. Getting Answers
Islam is the only religion which its first verses revealed talk about how Allah has taught us the pen and how to read.
in the name of your Lord who created – Created man from a clinging
substance. Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous – Who taught by
the pen – Taught man that which he knew not.” 96:1-5
scholars have preserved and documented any knowledge which Allah (swt)
has revealed and we haven’t lost anything because Allah says in the
day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon
you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” 05:03
can get answer for any question they have about their religion, and
most religions today don’t have that kind confidence because maybe
their source is not reliable or they don’t have enough information.
8. 8. Knowing the purpose of Life
Allah says in the Qur’an
“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Men” 51:56
verse tells us why Allah (swt) created us, because as human being we
always seek to find why is something exist, for example if you see a
machine that is very sophisticated, you will wonder what does it do,
but if you find out it doesn’t do anything at all, you will get
we do every day, such as work and learning is there to support us live
in this life, but they are not OUR PURPOSE OF LIIFE. You will see
people earning so much money, and when you ask them why, they will tell
you that they want to live a good life after they collect so much
money, but after that ends and you are old, than what?
9. 9. Free from seeking to please people
a muslim does something for a person, he is not seeking to “please”
that person, but he is doing it because he/she wants to please Allah
(swt). Muslims don’t seek “thanks” when they help someone. As we know
pleasing everyone is impossible but there is short way.
The prophet (pbuh) told us in hadith
Allah loves a slave, calls out Jibril and says: `I love so-and-so; so
love him’. Then Jibril loves him. After that he (Jibril) announces to
the inhabitants of heavens that Allah loves so-and-so; so love him; and
the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels) also love him and then make
people on earth love him".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The trick here is, if you please Allah (swt), then everyone will love you, except the enemies of the muslims.
10. 10. Having a person to give Sadaqah.
The prophet (pbuh) says in hadith
people! Give in charity as a time will come upon you when a person will
wander about with his object of charity and will not find anybody to
accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, "If you
had brought it yesterday, would have taken it, but to-day I am not in
need of it."
is very serious issue, because Charity in islam is very important thing
and it protects us from the heat of the hell. When you don’t have
anybody to give sadaqah, then you lose that chance.
take your time now and give as much sadaqah as you can, there are
hundreds of Islamic organizations out there, so don’t hold on what
Allah has given you…
what? There is no #3 in this article…! Lol, don’t scroll up, I gave you
the chance to write number three on the comment, what do you think we
should make #3?
